How far is too far when parenting your step-kids? Regardless, when those girls are in my house, I don’t see their daddies or their last name not being the same as mine. I see 2 girls who are depending on me to be responsible for them.

Does "Shackin'" Up Hurts Blended Families?

What could be any possible disruption to the kid’s development due to me and their momz not being married?  I love our family, and whether my fiance and I are married or not, our family is just as valued, special and acceptable as any “non-shacked” family!

What words mean what?! It’s so insane to think about how misunderstandings arise simply because one person interprets a word(s) to mean something different than what was intended.

So What Now! - Are We Blended or Nah?!

When the word “Blended” is used to describe a family what does that really mean? Why is it still necessary to use special titles to describe what is obvious. So it begs the question, are we Blended or Nah?! I personally say we’re simply families in a world that doesn’t know how to accept nor deal with change.
